Such a cool thing and looking forward to this! First time entering a query contest. Not sure which genre. Spiritual maybe? About a group of angels who go to earth to find families..( kinda) fitting for anyone who has lost someone they live. Ages 16-100+ fantasy spiritual? New to this genre. Is it a genre? 💞
Hi Everyone! I just submitted my entry for YA Nonfiction. However, I have not read of any other nonfiction entries on the twitter feed; I am hoping I just missed them. But now I am thinking that I should check directly with the people in the know...Is nonfiction an accepted entry category? Thanks!
Sorry if this is a stupid question... Happy to follow the blogs, but it's not clear to me how to.
For Michelle: Does that mean subscribing to the newsletter? Or selecting the blue follow button (I'm guessing that.) For Laura: Subscribe to my blog, yes? (That one seems pretty obvious) For Michael: There is a G+ follow and a blue follow button. Blue follow button?
Thanks. Want to make sure I follow all the rules!
I figured this out after a bit of trial and error! Just sign up for a blogger account at www.blogger.com (you don't need to blog to sign up), then go into "Reading List" (on left side of screen), select "Manage Reading List" (pencil icon on right side of screen), then add their blogs by entering their URLs: www.michelle4laughs.com/ + blog.lauraheffernan.com/ + writersoutworld.blogspot.com/. I hope that helps!

Nonfiction isn't accepted in the tournament. You're more than welcome to resubmit a fiction entry if available.
Will we still get a confirmation if we messed up the entry? How will we know if our entry was deleted?
We won't notify you of deletion.
If you need to resubmit due to formatting issues (or something otherwise outside of your control), we'll shoot you an email asking you to correct and resubmit.
That being said, we're not petty. It's a lot to the tournament. If you make a decent effort, we'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
